DESCRIPTION
AmTherm™ 9030 is an industrially inhibited propylene
glycol based heat transfer fluid. It is designed to
provide freeze and burst protection, excellent
thermal conductance, protection against system
corrosion and fouling and long term system stability
in recirculating water loops.
ADVANTAGES
AmTherm™ 9030 has a system operating range of -50ºF
to 250ºF, with burst protection to -100ºF and freeze
protection to -60ºF. System freeze and burst points
are controlled by the ratio of glycol to water.
Below are the system typical properties at a one to
two (33.3%) dilution, (one part glycol/two parts
water):
Density (lbs./ft 3 ): 65.3 @ 40ºF
Specific Gravity: 1.02 @ 68ºF
Weight/Gallon: 8.52 lbs. @ 40ºF
pH: 7.0 - 8.0
Viscosity: 5.75 cps @ 40ºF

Flash Point: None to boiling

AmTherm™ 9030 is suitable for ice and thermal
storage systems. It is dyed fluorescent green for
easy system leak detection.
